Celebrate National Autism Awareness Day
Monday, March 30, 2015
The Five Points Association and the Autism Academy of South Carolina have teamed up again to honor autism awareness. For the second year, friends and family of the Five Points community, as well as staff, students, and friends of the Autism Academy will come together to dye the Five Points Fountain blue. Dying the fountain blue helps not only to raise awareness and “shine a light” onto autism to the entire community, but also to help celebrate Autism Awareness Day.
What: Dying the fountain blue
When: Wednesday, April 1st at 6:00 p.m.
Where: The Five Points Fountain, at the corner of Harden Street and Saluda Avenue
The Autism Academy of SC will be holding events throughout the week of April 2nd, which is National Autism Awareness Day, to include: “Sounding the Alarm” Documentary and Panel, Annual Walk to the SC State House, an Autism Awareness Celebration, and the Color Me Blue Fun Run.
