Celebrate First Friday in the Five Points neighborhood with shopping and dining in true St. Pat's style!

All area children are invited to dye the fountain green to kick off the St. Pat's celebration.

Merchants will be offering specials and sales to after work shoppers.

Pre-party with all your friends on Friday March 13th on Santee Avenue for the 2nd Annual St. Pat's Battle of the Bands! Watch as 6 bands battle it out to perform on a stage at the 27th Annual St. Pat's in Five Points festival the next day!

Time - 6:00pm - 10:00pm
Location - Santee Avenue

FIVE AFTER FIVE NEW SPRING/SUMMER SEASON

Five After Five is making some changes! In 2009, the Five Points Association will launch the first spring/summer concert series of Five AFter Five. The season will begin as normal, on April 2, 2009, but will not end in May, instead it will continue through the month of June! What this means for you is 3 months in a row of live music under the stars in Five Points! Look for the schedule coming soon!

HARDEN STREET CARNIVAL OF SAVINGS

Your favorite Harden Street merchants in Five Points have been cooking up a great opportunity for shopping and fun this summer! On Saturday July 18, the 600 block of Harden Street will play host to the "2nd Annual Harden Street Carnival of Savings", an event designed to entertain guests and offer great discounts and specials. Stores along the block will have carnival-themed games inside their businesses for patrons to play and win sale prices, gift certificates and more. From balloon artists, caricature drawings and snowcones, the day is sure to deliver some summer fun to the community!

3rd Annual Five Points School Supply Drive – Where Giving is Rewarding

On Friday, August 7, 2009, the Five Points Association will once again play host to the Annual Five Points School Supply Drive to benefit Rosewood Elementary, Hand Middle School and the Alston Wilkes Society. From 4 – 8pm, patrons are encouraged to bring school supplies of all kinds to the fountain and in return will receive fantastic rewards from the merchants in the area. Five Points will be alive with live Jazz music and great family activities during the event.

• Patrons donating school supplies to help the community and wearing “I donated” stickers
• Balloonopolis, masters of balloon twisting, creating works of balloon art
• Children getting their faces painted
• Caricature Artist creating free drawings for customers
• Live jazz ensemble entertaining patrons

CHILI COOK-OFF

Each year, when the weather gets cold and the trees start to turn, the folks in the Five Points community gear up for one of the spiciest events in town! The famed Group Therapy's Chili Cook Off. 2009 will be marking the 23rd year of the event and it just gets better each year. Mark your calendars for one of Five Points' greatest events!

HALLOWEEN IN FIVE POINTS

The place to be this year for all your spooky fun will be in Five Points on Thursday, October 29! Tons of family activities including a pumpkin carving contest, costume contests, The Five Points Haunted House Candy Hunt and more! Music at the Fountain starting at 6:30 and going until 10:30pm.
